teamLab Inc. (the “Group Companies”, “we”, “us” or “our”) shall establish a framework regarding the handling of personal information, personal identity numbers, and specified personal information (collectively, “Personal Information”) to protect such Personal Information we collect, and shall promote the protection of information related to Personal information as set forth below.

2. Legal Compliance, among others
The Group Companies shall comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and any other relevant laws and guidelines in relation to the Act. In addition, the Group Companies shall develop this privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) and “teamLab’s Information Management Rules” (the “Group’s IMR Regulations”) and shall ensure such implementation of the Privacy Policy and the Group’s IMR Regulations.
3. Purpose of use
The Group Companies shall acquire Personal Information through appropriate methods and shall use such information according to the purpose as set out below.
- Purpose of use of Personal information:
- to undertake the solutions business in order to ship, contact/report, and provide after sales services of products;
- to undertake the digital art business in order to ship, contact/report, and provide after sales services of products;
- to undertake the software development business in order to ship, contact/report, and provide relevant after sales services of products;
- to recruit and manage human resources after an employee is hired;
- to use for marketing-related activities; and
- to manage any queries, consultations and complaints.

- to provide such collected information to the Third Party Distributors defined in section 4 below, and to use ad targeting methods and technologies to deliver advertisements tailored according to customers’ or users’ individual traits, or their preferences or interests.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, however, we may disclose and/or provide personal information to a third party if and to the extent that it is permitted by law or where we entrust the distribution of advertisements of the Group Companies to Google LLC, X Corp., TikTok Pte. Ltd., LY Corporation, Meta Platforms, Inc., LinkedIn Corporation, RAKUS Co. Ltd., Taboola, Inc., SmartNews, Inc., Snap Inc or Microsoft Corporation. (collectively, the “Third Party Distributors” or “TPDs”) . Among the TPDs, TikTok Pte. The following personal information obtained shall be shared among the Group Companies and companies which are engaged or involved in the operation of business with the Group Companies as listed below to the extent necessary to achieve the “3. Purpose of use”.

Types of personal information that is expected to be shared with the Group Companies are as follows:
name, home address, information relating to employer or organization to which the data subject is a member, including the name of the Group Companies or school, telephone number, email address, and any other personal information obtained to carry out the Group Companies’ business.

5. Provision of information related to Personal Information to a third party
The Group Companies may collect information related to Personal Information and any other relevant information including information on devices, logs, cookies, location information and IP addresses, among others. The Group Companies shall not disclose or provide information related to Personal Information to any third party who are expected to obtain such data as Personal Information without obtaining consent from the individual concerned unless otherwise required by law.
- Google Analytics
The websites operated by the Group Companies (the “Websites”) use an access analytics tool created by Google, "Google Analytics". Google Analytics uses cookies to collect traffic data (such as data related to visits to the Websites, membership ID, the number of visits and browsing history). The traffic data is collected anonymously and does not contain information that can be used to identify specific individuals. The Information collected by Google Analytics is transferred to servers installed by Google, and the Group Companies may use such information in combination with Personal Information held by the Group Companies for the “purpose of use” stated above. - The Websites may activate the following Google Analytic Advertising Features and use cookies:
- Google Analytics remarketing;
- Google Display Network Impression Reporting;
- Google Analytics reporting on user categories such as demographics and interests; and
- Integrated services that require Google Analytics for the collection of data for the purpose of placing advertisements.
The Group Companies may also use a combination of first party cookies, such as Google Analytics, and third party cookies for advertising and analysis in relation to the Websites.
You may disable the use of your data by Google Analytics by downloading and installing Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en)and changing the add-on setting of your web browser. If you disable the use of data by Google Analytics, the use of data by Google Analytics will also be disabled for all websites, including the Websites; however, you may reactivate the use of data by Google Analytics by resetting the add-on setting for your web browser.
- Microsoft Clarity
The Websites use an access analytics tool created by Microsoft, "Microsoft Clarity". Microsoft Clarity uses cookies to collect traffic data. The traffic data is collected anonymously and does not contain information that can be used to identify specific individuals. The Information collected by Microsoft Clarity is transferred to servers installed by Microsoft, and the Group Companies may use such information in combination with Personal Information held by the Group Companies for the “purpose of use” stated above. 6. Distribution of advertisements by TPDs
Advertisements of the Group Companies are posted on various websites by the TPDs, which distribute advertisements by using identification information, such as cookies and other identifiers, and personal information acquired by the Group Companies. Additionally, the TPDs may distribute advertisements based on results from data matching conducted by the TPDs by comparing and matching personal information in possession of the Group Companies against personal information held by the TPDs, provided that, prior to the data matching process, both of such personal information are irreversibly converted into data by which the data subject is not identifiable. None of such data will be used for any purpose other than for distribution of advertisements by the TPDs.

The Group Companies consign RAKUS Co.,Ltd. to send out emails regarding recruitment and measure the effectiveness of such emails by using cookies and personal information we collect.
- 9) Regarding the distribution of advertisements which uses the service of Taboola, Inc.
The Group Companies consign Taboola, Inc. to distribute advertisements regarding recruitment by using cookies and personal information we collect.
- 10) Regarding the distribution of advertisements which uses the service of SmartNews, Inc.
The Group Companies consign SmartNews, Inc. to distribute advertisements regarding recruitment by using cookies and personal information we collect.
- 11) Advertisement distribution using Custom Audiences of Snapchat Ads:

7. Proper management and ensuring safety of Personal Information
We shall properly and strictly manage Personal Information we collect and/or handle as set forth below:
Establishment of basic policy:
We have established a basic policy that complies with relevant laws, regulations, guidelines, rules, and standards to ensure appropriate handling of personal information.
Establishing rules for the handling of Personal Information:
We have established our Group IMR Regulations and information management rules to ensure appropriate handling of personal information.
Technological Information Security Control Measures:
We manage access to personal information, record and analyze access logs, take measures against computer viruses and malicious software, and implement appropriate network management, among other measures.
Organizational Information Security Control Measures/People Information Security Control Measures:
We have implemented measures to ensure appropriate supervision of the handling of personal information by our employees, including ensuring that our employees receive training on our internal rules and regulations to prevent any unauthorized disclosure, inappropriate use, or other similar incident involving personal information caused by our employees. In addition, we enter into agreements with, or obtain written pledges from, our employees regarding their non-disclosure obligations.
Physical Information Security Control Measures:
We have implemented measures to ensure appropriate physical protection of Personal Information, including the management of our facilities, monitoring access to facilities and/or rooms, and appropriately managing keys that provide access to the foregoing facilities and/or rooms to prevent any unauthorized disclosure, etc. of personal information
8. Disclosure of Personal Data In Our Possession and Filing of Complaints
Please contact us via the methods or contact(s) provided in Section 10 (Contact for Inquiries and Complaints) if you wish to request a “disclosure, etc.” of personal data in our possession or to file a complaint in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act. For the purpose of the foregoing, “disclosure, etc.” includes, but is not limited to, notifications of purpose of use, disclosures (including disclosures of records on our provision of personal data to third parties), corrections, additions, deletions, or suspensions of use. We will respond to such requests after confirming the identity of the requester.
9. Continuous Improvement of System to Protect Personal Information
We conduct periodic audits of our system to protect Personal Information. In addition, we continue to monitor changes in our business, the state of society, and advances in information management systems, in conjunction with our review of our system to protect personal information, including this Privacy Policy and the Group IMR Regulations, to continuously improve our system to protect Personal Information

Protection of Personal information relating to recruitment activities
During our recruitment process, the Group Companies shall treat the applicants’ personal information obtained through the process strictly confidential and shall handle such personal information as follows.
1. Personal information to be acquired (some may not be applicable depending on the status of application)
- Name, date of birth, address, contact address (phone number and email address)
- Education, experience, academic records, achievements in production (portfolio., etc. )
- Survey at information session
- Information relating to selection and evaluation on online such as online test and examination and information relating to selection and evaluation such as assignment for selection
- Other information of the applicants acquired through selection process and the results of selection
*In case an applicant has a Physically/Intellectually Disabled Person’s Handbook, the Group shall ask for its presentation and make a copy.
2. Purposes of use
The Group Companies shall use “1. Personal information to be acquired” for the purposes of providing the applicants with employment information (including targeting advertisement by the TPDs), employment selection, confirming the history of application, providing to the TPDs, targeting advertisement for users who are similar to the applicants and other business associated with recruitment activities. In case an applicant has joined the Group, the Group shall continue to use “1. Personal information to be acquired” for the employment management.
3. Shared use
Information of an applicant submitted to the Group Companies shall be shared with and among the each of the Group Companies as set forth below to the extent necessary to achieve the “2. Purpose of use”. The person responsible for the management of personal information within the Group Companies is teamLab, Inc. 4. Voluntary provision of personal information
The provision of Personal Information to the Group Companies is voluntary. However, please note that if Personal Information is not provided, there is a possibility for causing inconvenience to administrative processes in relation to recruitment activity.
5. Destruction of personal information
The Group Companies shall not return any application documents. In the event an applicant is not hired, the Group Companies shall retain personal information and application documents collected for a certain period of time and dispose of them in an appropriate manner.
6. Proceedings for disclosure, revision or suspension of use of personal information
In the event that an applicant requests disclosure, revision or suspension of the use of personal information, the Group Companies will handle such request in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations. If you request disclosure (including disclosure of records on our provision of personal information to third parties), revision or suspension of use of personal information, please contact the recruitment staff of the Group Companies stated in “7. Contact us”. However, please note that we are unable to accept any request for disclosure, revision or suspension of use of information, provided that such information concerns or involves our recruitment and selection decisions, whether a specific application is successful or not, or any other aspects of the evaluation of applicants or applications by the Group Companies.
